I had a wonderful stay at The Bywater Suite Hotel. Aaron & Elexa really helped elevate my experience. They were always helpful and quick to meet any need I had and provided great suggestions of things to do in the neighborhood and other parts of the city.
The hotel itself is built into an old school so the rooms are very spacious.The kitchenette and washer were super useful during my week long stay. The hot tub was a great amenity and the pool looked great but it was too cold to swim in.
The location was very safe and I walked to and from the hotel countless times over a week. There are plenty of local bars 5, 10, and 15 minute walks from the hotel and a number of great restaurants including The Joint and Jacks Dempseys. As its name implies, you’re By the Water and the wharf and river walk where you can see the downtown skyline is 15 minutes on foot. It’s also off of St.Claude where you’re a 12 minute bus ride directly into The Quarter.
I really loved my stay here and will be staying there the next time I’m in New Orleans!

Very nice hotel, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, washer dryer! When I go back to New Orleans, this is where I will stay. The only thing I had an issue with was I had an issue with one of the toilets when we arrived at the hotel. No handy man on site. My husband went to the store and fixed the issue. “They were under construction when we stayed”. very nice, private, and Gated facility with onsite gated parking for reasonable rate.

Excellent stay. Came for the Sugar Bowl. Stayed on New Years Day. Very clean, front desk was helpful. I recommend reserving parking. Would definitely stay here again

10/10 definitely recommend. I absolutely love this place. The room was very quiet as well as the neighborhood. They have a few restaurants that were walking distance that were recommended to us and had amazing service. We definitely recommend JusTini’s to eat. Our concierge was so polite and helpful. He helped us get in the room and helped us with anything we needed. He always greeted us with a smile which made us feel so welcomed. The pool and property was everything. Everything was clean from the room to the whole property. We will definitely be staying here every time we come to New Orleans.

We had an incredible week at the bywater hotel, the room was beautiful, walking distance to everything we needed, and most of all the service was phenomenal. Lionisha went above and beyond to help us out with everything we needed, and we’d come back just for her!!
